This goofy foot rider started skating when he was around five years old. He was the youngest-ever X Games competitor, and has been competing against professionals since 2009. His talent snagged him X Games silver in Street in 2009 and 2010, and Gold in street in 2011. He is featured in the This is my Element, Elementality, and Silver in Barcelona videos. On November 11, 2011, Nyjah released a video Rise & Shine under Element Skateboards. He is also a featured character in the video games Tony Hawk’s Project 8, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, Tony Hawk: Ride, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD. Nyjah’s popularity helped win him the inaugural Kentucky Unbridled Spirit Award for Action Sports
